Provenance: Private collection, Michigan
Acquired from the collection of Prince Darius Taleyarkhan ("Darius Tal Yar Khan", or "Darius Talyarken")
This work is accompanied by a complete color photocopy of the entire sketchbook (which has close to 50 drawings by Kandinsky)
Additionally copies of letters, receipts, including settlement statements from works sold at Christie's NY, and an additional inventory page of works from Talyarkhan which were at Christie's. Reciepts include stays at the Ritz Carlton, New York & The Waldorf Astoria hotel suites. Letters from lawyers, hotel management employees and friends in regards to Mr. Talyarkhan obtaining a Visa to enter the United States.
Works from the collection of Mr. Talyarkhan have sold at Christie's as well as many other high end auction houses throughout the world.
