French Majolica "Four Fish in the Waves" Wall Plaque, fourth quarter 19th century, attributed to Choisy le Roi, with an unidentified impressed mark and integral wall hanging apertures, w. 16", l. 24".

In generally good condition with typical scattered firing anomalies. Scattered wear to unglazed edge of the foot. Lower portion of large eel's tail appears to have been reseated prior to glaze and firing (does not fluoresce).
