Louis XVI-Style Mahogany and Marble-Top Commode, early 19th century, the rectangular charcoal marble top with turreted corners, above a conforming case fitted with three long drawers, all paneled and with brass banding, raised on turned tapering circular legs, h. 35", w. 37", d. 20".

In overall good condition. There are some tight shrinkage cracks to the left side panel. Scattered minor dings and imperfections from age and use. The marble top is fine, with no damage or repairs. The brass tubular molding around the drawer front panels has numerous dents and dings. Good overall finish and patina.
