H 8 1/2 in. This was a rare Monk's Cap pitcher of the Ming Dynasty (15th Century). Tea-dust glaze was invented in this period. It was rare to find porcelains made of this glaze because it was very difficult to achieve this color. This Monk's Cap pitcher was made for the Tibetan Monks.
