Folk Art Military Figures by James McEnroe 

James Michael McEnroe (American, 20th century). Eleven military figurines, seven of which depict American soldiers: two US MC Sergeants from the 1914-1918, one Private US Marine Corps 1898, a Private 10th US cavalry 1880 "buffalo soldier," a Union army New York 3rd Volunteer from 1860, a Confederate states infantry private, and a Union infantry private from 1863. Also included are four soldiers from other countries: one French Artillery foot soldier from 1801, a Skinner's horse Sowar from 1909, a staff ADC Napoleon from 1809, and a French Dragoon from 1760; largest ht. 7.5 in.
