Affectionately Called The “huss,” The Choctaw Went Ashore As Part Of The First Marine Aircraft Unit In The Republic Of Vietnam In 1962 And Served In Country Until April, 1969. Here A Pair Of Uh-34’s Ply The Skies Over South Vietnam On An Assault Support Mission Ferrying Troops And Supplies.
