Egypt, New Kingdom, Ca 1550 to 1100 BCE. Gorgeous! Large faience grouping comprised of a large scarab with twin original wings, along with the four sons of Horus - Qebehsenuef (intestines), Duamutef (stomach), Hapi (lungs) and Imsety (liver). Each finely detailed with original added pigments, all have been mounted into 14kt gold setting. 6"W x 5-1/2"H, on black velvet fabric (can easily be re-done) .
