On these points we have much to lay before the public"; a proclamation by the New York State Society of the Cincinnati (Hamilton was president-general at the time of his death); and a reprint of a paragraph from the New York Gazette "concerning the duel between gen. Hamilton and col. Burr, as malicious and hellish, as perhaps ever was penned."
