Thomas A. Edison Typed Document Signed "Thos. A. Edison." Found on the verso of a two page document (pages 117 and 118), 6.5" x 10.5" (sight), West Orange [New Jersey], August 26, 1919, recording the "Minutes of a Meeting of the Board of Directors of Thomas A. Edison, Inc." The meeting concerned the selling of 9,836 shares of 5% cumulative preferred stock at $100 per share in Edison Storage Battery Company by Thomas Edison to Thomas A. Edison, Inc. Countersigned by Charles Edison, president of Thomas A. Edison, Inc.; Stephen B. Mambert (who signs twice), as vice president and financial executive; Harry F. Miller, as director; and R. R. Karch (faintly), as assistant secretary. Matted and framed to an overall size of 9" x 13".
The document was formerly mounted to a second frame, measuring 27.5" x 21.25", bearing an engraved, colored portrait of Edison with his phonograph and an Edison Gold Moulded phonograph cylinder.
