c. June 15, 1920. Houston, TX. Mixed media including newsprint, magazine articles, strips of newspaper from the Houston Chronicle dated 1920 form the border, watercolor, ink, marker. The numbers "4631" are written at the top. 20.5" x 17". Dellschau's biography is fascinating and is the subject of recent article in RAW Vision. Donated to the AFAM courtesy of Ricco/Maresca Gallery. Estimate: $8,000. Ship: $50. This work is being offered for sale as a Benefit Auction for the American Folk Art Museum. 100% of the total purchase price of each item (including the 15% buyer's premium) will go to support the Museum's upcoming exhibitions and educational programming. Nice archival frame.

Condition report

It appears to be in very good condition. There are some creases, however all seems in keeping with a construction of found material.
