circa 1927. Tacoma, WA. Polychromed. Extremely well carved. Lots of figures - monkeys, birds, snakes, cats. Strong imagery. Some wood separation at connecting pieces. Varnish old & some crazing. 74" tall. Base: 14.5" x 14.5" square. Provenance: Howard Campbell. Campbell believes that Carver was a N.W. Coast Indian. The upright piece is most likely a Northern Spruce. Every branch has been adapted into the design. Est. $1,000 - $2,000 Ship: $60
