Condition/Details: Additional text includes: "Everyone should be familiar with the birds represented on this chart. The saving which they afford the farmer and gardner in fighting the worm and insect pests make them exceedingly useful, and when the coming generation understands their economical value we feel sure they will more thoroughly protect them." In addition, there is also an ad from "Cow Brand Soda" on the tree trunk and a baking soda box illustrated at the bottom left corner. This bright, vivid poster clearly depicts many of the important birds of North America and some of the insects they eat in bright colors and impressive detail. This poster has some creases throughout, concentrated at the edges with heavier creasing to the top portion of the poster where some of the creases have begun to form surface cracks. The top wooden dowel is present, the bottom edge has been trimmed along the edge of the illustration. This poster will be shipped in a tube. The shipping cost (within the U.S.) will be: $16.50
