Description
Gold -Plated 30mm Sterling Silver Robbins Medallion in its original Fliteline plastic case. This medallion has the names "Grissom, White, Chaffee" and "Apollo 1" on the reverse and is not engraved with any dates as the flight never flew. Gold-Plated Robbins medallions were acquired by the astronauts mainly to give to their wives. They are the scarcest of all the normally issued Robbins medallions. Ex: the astronaut Ed White II collection.
