Our consignor tells us that these are the last of a run of ten consecutive $500 notes that came out of a safety deposit box find in Georgia in the 1990s. We don't have any reason to doubt that. Both notes have great centering and a minor center fold/bend that likely came from where a large wad of cash was folded in two for many years.
