Colorful stripes with meandering lines and turreted edges are superimposed over a polychromatic checkerboard pattern. Contrasting hash mark boundaries comprised of tiny lozenges mark the edges between each contrasting square. Jadeite green, pumpkin orange and Prussian blue squares are paired with wheat-colored blocks and white polygons embellished with subtle variegated patterns. Decorative end pieces feature crenellated stripes and rows of meandering turrets that continue the high-contrast color scheme and simple geometric composition. Half-square motifs line the edges of the field creating a solid border that adds closure to the minimalist composition.
