Rabbi Aharon Reuvein Charney was born in Poland in [1884] and served as Rabbi and preacher in Suwalk. In 1909, he moved to London and then to the United States. He passed away in 1968. He authored a number of books in Yiddish and Hebrew. Refer to: B"Z Eisenshtadt, Dorot Ha'Achronim, 2, Brooklyn, 1937, p. 92, Otzar HaRabbanim 1887.
Lengthy dedication in the hand of the author to his friend, Rabbi Zalman Tuvia [Markowitz]. Rabbi Zalman Tuvia Markowitz was the Rabbi of ƗƗĀ Ć—ĖœĆ—Ć—Å“Ć—ā„¢Ć—Ā¤Ć—Ėœ, Lithuania and was killed in the Holocaust [Otzar HaRabbanim 18818].
