My rastyom pod znamenem Lenina i Stalina [We Are Growing Up Under the Banner of Lenin and Stalin], a poster by Konstantin Zotov (1906–1990). Published by OGIZ-IZOGIZ, Moscow-Leningrad. 106.5 x 75 cm.

After attending a technical arts school in Moscow, Konstantin Zotov worked as an artist for a variety of children’s newspapers and magazines (1925 -1934), and as a book illustrator for several Moscow publishing houses. He started producing propaganda posters for IZOGIZ in the 1930s; not surprisingly, many of his posters also targeted the youth audience.
