A cheque for £10 payable to Annabels (Berkeley Square) Ltd., signed Francis Bacon; and two cheque books (stubs only) one with cover and one without including payment notes in Bacon's own hand. Entries include April 19th 1969: "Wheelers £500" (Wheelers was one of Bacon's favourite restaurants) cheque 29421:. 10th April 1969: "Muriel Belcher £50" cheque 29422. [Muriel Belcher was the proprietor of The Colony Room Dean Street]: December 15th 1968: "Mother £100" cheque 770826: and a single page of a National Westminster Bank Ltd., bank statement 14th April to 12th May 1971, account F. Bacon Esq.
