Letter to Francis Bacon from Theodore Goddard & Company, typewritten and dated 29th September 1969, referring to the completion of the purchase of 80, Narrow Street that day. Bacon owned this property by the Thames for some years. There is an illustration of a photograph of him on the balcony of the house overlooking the Thames dated March 1972 in Martin Harrison's book 'In Camera, Francis Bacon' (page 197).
