Ianthe Bacon (Francis Bacon's sister), un-dated, signed letter to Francis Bacon from Beit Bridge, Rhodesia. 9" x 7". One sheet hand written on both sides. She refers to a proposition of Bacon's which sounds "quite fantastic" and suggests a meeting to discuss it further. The letter is tantalising in that there is no clue as to what the proposition was.
