Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Lambayeque or Sican culture, ca. 800-1000 CE. Double chambered vessel depicting a sitting sea bird with whistle hidden inside his open beak. Rear has three birds in high relief. Beatiful polychrome finish in shades of red, cream, and dark brown. 7-1/2”T x 4”W. Has been TL Tested (report from Kotalla Labs will accompany).
