Additional Information & Circa: Framed 'Electric Tulip' lithograph by Lowell Nesbitt (1933-1993). Provenance: Artist | Estate of Frederick Goodnow | Private Collection, New York. (Frederick Goodnow lived in the same SOHO loft building on Wooster St. as Lowell Nesbitt and became Nesbitt's studio manager in the early 1980s. The works represented were gifts from the artist to Mr. Goodnow during his time of employment.) 'Since his first show in 1957, Nesbitt has had more than eighty, one man shows. His painting, drawings and prints are included in the collections of many prestigious museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art in New York, and the National Gallery of Fine Art in Washington, D.C.
