This 80 piece Gorham sterling service features the ‘King Edward’ design. The flatware handles have scrolling leaf and flower motifs. The set includes: 18 dinner forks, 6 salad forks, 6 spreaders, 27 teaspoons, 12 spoons, 10 knives, and 2 dinner knives. The set is entirely in sterling silver, excepting the stainless steel blades on the knives.
This sterling service is in good condition with traces of wear. Several of the steel blades on the knives may have been replaced, and the blades are in slightly varying shapes. The handles all appear to be original Gorham sterling silver. The service features the following hallmarks: ‘GORHAM STERLING’, ‘GORHAM STERLING PAT’, ‘GORHAM SEAMLESS STERLING HANDLE STAINLESS BLADE’, ‘STERLING HANDLE’. The largest pieces, the dinner knives are 9.75” x 1” (length x width). The total weight of the collection is 81.9 ozt.
