This novel saddle bag is Christian Dior's special 'car' design. It features patent leather, reflectors, a miniature car door latch, and a miniature bumper plate. The bag has a snap closure, a zipper section, and two interior compartments. The saddle bag has a patent leather handle or an alternate patent leather 48.5" long shoulder strap.

This bag is in overall good vintage condition with traces of age and ware. There are surface scratches, marks, and minor discoloration. The exterior bumper plate is marked, 'MONTAIGNE CHRIS – 1947 CD CD’. An interior label reads, 'Christian Dior Paris'. The bag itself is 10” x 12” x 2” (length x width x depth).
