translated by William Caxton, edited by H.Halliday Sparling, 3 vol. in 2, one of 300 copies on Flower paper, printed in red and black with text printed in Troy type and preliminaries and glossary in Chaucer type, wood-engraved title, borders and initials designed by William Morris, light browning to a few leaves, bookplate of Willis Vickery, original limp vellum with ties, yapp edges, spines titled in gilt, uncut, covers very slightly yellowed, lacking some ties, [Peterson A8], large 4to, Kelmscott Press, 1892. The first use of both the Troy and Chaucer type, and the first Kelmscott book to contain ornamental designs in the margins.
