first edition , decorative Futurist title, illustrations and decorations by Vasily Masiutin, some age-toning, original wrappers with decorative title on upper cover, a very good copy, [MoMA 414], 12mo, Moscow , 1922. A seemingly scarce work by the author whose attempt to implicate Stalin in the death of a Revolutionary leader resulted in his eventual incarceration in 1937 and his assassination less than a year later. Masiutin was a prolific graphic artist as well as a master engraver; he emigrated in the 1920s to Germany where he continued to contribute to Russian émigré publications.
