Pomeroy of Philadelphia, dated March 14, 1863 and April 21, 1864: the first on State of Pennsylvania Hospital Department LH from Harrisburg, as Assistant Surgeon to the 110th Regt Penn Vols, signed by Surgeon General Jas King and by Pomeroy himself; PLUS Special Order No 54 on Headquarters Pennsylvania Militia Hospital Dept in Harrisburg LH, naming Pomeroy as Surgeon of th 162nd Regt Pa Vols (17th Pa Cavalry), with letter from Pomeroy, countersigned by Lt Col JW Greenwalt, Col Inez Lakewood, Maj Genl DR Penney, Maj Gen Mancule (?), others by command of Meade and Sheridan.
