Original ship’s bell from the famous British Royal navy warship “HMS Antrim” this bell is massive with a crown top, deeply engraved “Antrim” in an arch and later engraving recognizing years of service 1905-1922 and the bell’s later use on the second HMS Antrim 1970-1984. Under the lip are engraved names which we had earlier thought were of those serving on board however we have been advised that the names inscribed in the lip of the bell are the CHILDREN of ships company who where christened using the bell as a font.
