AMERICAN STUDIO POTTERY TEAPOTS, LOT OF TWO, the first, by Patricia J. Fay, of red earthenware, of flattened, globular form, the domed cover with a curling doghouse to the top, with flat spout and tapering funnel-form spout, painted to the sides with doghouse and dog on a mound, signed to underside; the second, by Susan Henthorne, of white clay, modeled in typical Persian-form, painted deep blue. Incised signature to underside. Circa 1980-1990. 6 3/4" HOA.

Catalogue Note: Patricia J. Fay is an Associate Professor of Art at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, she exhibited at commercial craft fairs, including the ACC Baltimore; Washington Craft Show; Crafts at the Castle (Boston), etc.
