Framed mixed media drawing on paper, "Bombardier Litter Cases from C.54", signed, dated, titled, lower left A. Poor, 1945 (Anne Poor, New York, 1918-2002), sight: 25"h, 21"w, overall: 37"h, 32"w, 13lbs *Note: Anne Poor, step daughter of artist Henry Varnum Poor, was commissioned in the 1930's by the WPA to paint murals in several post offices. She joined the Women's Army Corps, and was the only woman artist/correspondent in the U.S. Armed Forces during WWII. Her service included "a year in the Pacific recording in fluid sketches evacuations of the wounded for the Air Transport Command". The upper right corner of this drawing includes the logo of that military command. Start Price: $200.00
