Superb Antique Monumental Georgian Solid Silver Hot Water Tea Kettle on a three dolphin foot spirit burner stand, also in sterling. Of inverted pear shape, extensively chased with flowers and foliage, applied with swing handle rising from stylized dolphins, embellished stylized swan spout, very ornate openwork stand featuring flowers, leaves and masks, raised on three stylized chinoiserie dolphin feet. The detachable cover with a finial cast as a figure with a parasol. Inscribed on one side Deo Regi Vicino which translates to; "For God, For King, For Neighbor" and with a Armorial Family Crest on the other side. This is a highly decorative and very rare piece. The kettle, the stand, handle and the lid are all Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1817 (b), Maker's mark J A and attributed to Joseph Angell. Stands 15 1/2 tall and 11 1/2 wide and weighs 6 Pds, 7 Ounces. Missing wicker wrap on handle. Provenance: From the Estate of Beauregard Crawford Moore
