19th Century Pennsylvania Copper Running Horse Weathervane. With original iron directional and roof mounting. Provenance: J.P. Hillegass was a horse and cattle dealer in Pennsberg, Montgomery County, PA during the Civil War through the late 19th century. This weathervane was taken of the stockyard barn in 1898 when it was demolished. 104"h. x 72"w. Condition: Good, painted white, with dents and weathered.
