Visages Pour Delie Lithographs by Leonor Fini 

Leonor Fini (Argentinian, active in France, 1907-1996). Lithographic prints on Arches paper, housed in a book-shaped box. A portfolio of twelve portraits of a woman titled Visages pour Delie (Faces For Delie), after poems by French Renaissance poet Maurice Sceve. In addition to the twelve prints, the portfolio includes twelve poems by Sceve, juxtaposed to the corresponding print. It also contains two title pages (at the beginning), a list of illustrations, and a list of all the existing prints of these portraits (at the end). All texts in the portfolio are in French. This is the 133rd printed portfolio out of a series of 225. Portfolio dated 1974, l.c. of back of second title page; each lithograph numbered 133/225, l.l.; signed, l.r.; 20.75 x 27 in. (box).
