A Chinese Inlaid Lacquer Screen, 19th century, a four panel lacquer screen, one side with black lacquer, each panel divided into a long and short frame, the frames inset with mother of pearl interlocking coin pattern, in the upper long frames depicted in carved and inlaid semi-precious stones, shell, and bone are big game hunting scenes in landscapes, the bottom frames also depicted in inlaid stones are birds and flowers, on the reverse in red lacquer are four frames, two depicting birds in trees, the other two birds in aquatic landscapes, with minor losses to inlay and lacquer, screen panels unhinged from each other, each of the four panels approx. 183 by 43 cm, 72 by 17 in.
