A Japanese Cloisonne Jar Attributed to Namikawa Yasuyuki, 19/20th century, gilt copper cloisonne with silver and copper wirework, very intricately detailed three different colored roundels depicting different flowers and butterflies surrounded by a mirror black cloisonne ground which Namikawa is the inventor of, the black ground filled with floral meander, six lappets with alternating butterflies and flowers circumscribe the rim, multicolored lappets surround the foot ring, black domed lid with floral meander and gilt chrysanthemum finial, turquoise blue enameled interior, sterling silver square plaque with four character kanji Kyoto Namikawa mark screwed in to base, approx.10 by 8 cm, 4 by 3 1/8 in.
