Exceedingly rare and desirable early American tin example, pictured in the famed George Brown Sketchbook, this clockwork version is simply amazing in design and quality of visual presence. Few are known to have survived, especially in this condition, the ingenuity is evidenced when the clockwork is activated which allows the caged lion to seemingly pace the cage floor while the wagon rolls forward.
