This painting was purchased in the famous Montmarte District of Paris in 1979 directly from the artist. Sonyang is a Japanese artist living and working in Paris. His work is impressionistic in nature and is accomplished with the exclusive use of the palette knife. He is known for his landscapes and portraits. Approx. size is 23 1/2" x 20".
