Strong design and composition are the keys to Kephart's art. He has been painting for nearly forty years. For the majority of this time he has used pastels as a medium and was a noted landscape artist, depicting the land is a realistic way. Living amidst the canyons and deserts of the Colorado Rockies, Kephart creates compositions with great depth. His works exhibit a deep understanding of the land and his love affair with it. More recently Kephart has turned to mixed media painting in the abstract style. His current paintings are selling in the range of two to five thousand dollars. Approx. size is 42 1/2" x 30 1/2.
