Stewart's heritage comes from the Ozark foothills and his paintings respond to the beauty and quiet fascination of this small segment of rural America. The warm memories of his past and on-going experiences art reflected in the realism of his style. Stewart ranks with those artists who combine experience and sincere beauty with technical perfection and skill. After a successful commercial art career, Stewart pursued a career in fine arts. He has had many articles printed about his work in Southwest Art and Artist Monthly. His works have been represented throughout the United States in major galleries and many private collections. Stewarts paintings are also displayed in the Halls of Congress. Approx. size is 39 1/2" x 27 1/2".
