This lot includes part of a lifelong collection of early illustrations that we are selling at this auction, the bulk of which center on the work of Winslow Homer. Many of the books in the collection include bookmarks to indicate Homer's illustrations and page numbers to references in David Tatham's "Winslow Homer and the Illustrated Book". This particular lot includes the following bound volume of antique magazine issues:

Notes: Bound in full leather with gilt embossing, this volume is profusely illustrated with many full page engravings, many or all tissue guards present. Back hinge is split, front hinge cracked, tear along spine edge, several pages are loose. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $10.50
