This lot includes part of a lifelong collection of early illustrations that we are selling at this auction, the bulk of which center on the work of Winslow Homer. Many of the books in the collection include bookmarks to indicate Homer's illustrations and page numbers to references in David Tatham's "Winslow Homer and the Illustrated Book". This particular lot includes the following bound volume of antique magazine issues:
