This lot includes part of a lifelong collection of early illustrations that we are selling at this auction, the bulk of which center on the work of Winslow Homer. Many of the books in the collection include bookmarks to indicate Homer's illustrations and page numbers to references in David Tatham's "Winslow Homer and the Illustrated Book". This particular lot includes the following bound volume of antique magazine issues:

Notes: Bound in three-qurter leather with gilt embossing, these volumes contain many engraved illustrations, including numerous continuous-sheet illustration, and advertisements. Covers are loose, board and spine have been re-inforced with tape, several pages are also loose from binding. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $12.50
