Antique heliogravure on heavy wove paper after Jules Breton. "Bringing Home the Washing", admirable type of the stalwart peasant-woman, whom the artist sees with the eyes ot the poet.. This impression is well more than 120 years old. This is not a modern reprint but was hand pulled from the copper plate late 1880's. (Image size 7 1/4 x 9 3/4 inches). Double matted and framed in a solid wood moulding. Frame dimensions 15 1/4 x 17 3/4 inches. This print is in excellent condition. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
