Description
Housed in a Wheatley fly box are 16 flies tied by Perry Ehlers of North River, New York. Appears to be of the 1940's-1950's vintage. All tied on turn-up eye single hooks. Each is a different pattern with handwritten cards with the size, pattern and in most cases the price for each. His business card is laid in the box. Mr. Ehlers was a well known Adirondack fly tyer, who taught Ed Bendl the art of fly tying.
