The pendant features a tanzanite set within a stylized lattice basket with yellow gold accents, completed by a diamond set bail. The pendant is supported by an eighteen inch length 14KT yellow gold designer style chain with rhodium accents. Bright polish finish. Identified with markings of "14K". Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania.
