The pendant features a tanzanite set within a diamond bezel, completed by a yellow gold bail. The pendant is supported by an eighteen inch length 14KT yellow gold designer style chain, terminating in a spring ring clasp. Bright polish finish. Trademark is Orianne. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method.
