Missal, in Latin, 15th-century, text in two columns, 32 lines each, in red, blue and black, with 25 large illuminated initials with decorative flourishing and numerous 2-line initials throughout, medieval foliation in black ink at upper margin, 38 leaves. A portion of the Temporale, from The Feast of the Holy Trinity to the 23rd Sunday after Pentacost. The text begins with the introit for the Feast of the Holy Trinity (Tobit 12:6 "Benedicta sit sancta Trinitas") and ends the Mass of the 23rd Sunday after Pentacost (introit begins "Dicit Dominus ego cogito cogitationes").
Folio, full crushed black morocco, gilt-lettered spine, a.e.g. 38 leaves on vellum, double-column text. George Edward Dimock, bookplate.
