First edition, third state, binding B, with title shortened to "The Land of Oz," cover lettered in silver and "Published, July, 1904" below copyright notice on the verso of the title page. Rubbing and light soiling to boards; ends bumped and frayed; hinges starting.
[Together with:] The Road to Oz, (1909). 8vo, original light green cloth pictorially stamped in dark green, red, and tan. First edition, variant E, secondary binding, with publisher's name in capital letters at foot of spine and the numeral "121" broken on p. 121. The Emerald City of Oz, (1910). 8vo, original light blue cloth, pictorial pastedown cover label. First edition, second state, printed on heavier paper stock. Lacking one plate.
