A pair of bronze statues, one of a baby (or putto) and a child faun or satyr figure, on gilt metal and alabaster (or possibly marble) bases. Gilt leaf motif and string of pearls line the alabaster. The pin holes from the bronze casting have been filled in on the faun, and most have been filled in on the baby, but not all. There are also filled in holes in the alabaster and metal base. France, 19th century; unmarked. Dimensions: faun: approx. 12-3/4" H x 5-1/2" square base; baby: 12-1/8" H x 5-1/2" square base.

In good condition; the string of pearls are a little loose on each piece; occasional scratching on each.
