A George III Style Giltwood Mirror,
having an oval mirror plate set in a conforming frame with beaded decoration, the pediment centered with an urn form carving with ram's mask handles and surrounded by foliate carved swags.
Height 61 1/2 inches.

Condition: In stable condition. The exterior mirror plate border having heavy age and patina. The applied leaf trim around the sides having loss of leaves in four area on the left and one on the right. The bottom pediment having minor chips to the painted finished, a small break and repair to both left and right sides and possible age splits in the center. The top pediment appears to have been broken off and reattached with wooden supports behind it and has loss of an applied leaf to the left side by mirror.
