A Chinese Canton export ivory needle case and cover, late 19th century, carved in relief with scenes of figures seated in gardens and strolling through rockeries, with central uncarved oval reserve, screw cover, containing nine carved ivory pieces of sewing paraphernalia to include hooks, pulls and clips, the case measuring 15.5cm in length; and two Chinese pierced ivory 'bitong' of small proportions, early 20th century, both of cylindrical form, carved with scenes of figures in gardens, one with matched base, one lacking base, each approximately 5.8cm diameter and 9cm high (3)
